Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- 1. Start by preheating your oven to bake your fries as directed in the package.
- 2. Chop your onions. Place your onions onto a frying pan drizzled with olive oil and topped with a little salt and pepper. Carmelize on medium low for about 20 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
- 3. In a separate pan grow your ground beef. Add chopped garlic, mustard, onion powder, garlic powder and salt and pepper to the meat mixture. If you use a meat with a higher fat content you will want to drain some of the excess grease from the meat.
- 4. Wash and chop your lettuce and tomatoes.
- 5. Once everything is cooked it’s time to assemble. On a bowl add your lettuce, top with your meat, grilled onions, French fries, cheese, tomatoes and pickles.
- 6. At this point you can add your favorite sauce! Whether you love ketchup, mustard or thousand island. Make it your own and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to substitute the ground beef for turkey or ground chicken. feel free to substitute the French fries for onion rings or sweet potatoes fries. I also love to roast potatoes for this dish when I don’t have frozen fries on hand!
