Whole30 Burger + Fries (Edit recipe)

While on Whole30, I made this insanely delicious burger that I’ve made multiple times while changing up the seasoning from time to time because not only is it healthy but its probably the juiciest burger you’ll ever make!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. After having the ground beef sit out for 30 minutes or until reaches room temperature, mix in the coconut aminos, pressed garlic, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Mix with your hands and form six 1/3lb patties. Set aside while your cast iron skillet heats up.
  2. Cut the sweet potatoes into wedges and transfer into a large mixing bowl. Add in the olive oil, everything but the bagel seasoning plus a teaspoon of sea salt. Mix thoroughly and transfer to a lined baking sheet. Cook at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Then finish off by broiling for 3 minutes per side. I like to finish the sweet potato wedges off with a pinch of sea salt once they come out of the oven.
  3. When the sweet potatoes are almost finished, start cooking the burgers on medium-high heat for 7 minutes then flip and cook for another 5 minutes for the meat to be medium. Adjust the time by about 2-3 minutes for medium-rare or medium-well. And let them rest for 5-10 minutes.
  4. When the burgers are resting, fry your eggs, slice your tomatoes and avocados.
  5. Plate your food and enjoy!
