Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat the oven to 400F.
  2. In a bowl, combine the gluten free flour, baking powder, and spices.
  3. In a separate container, combine the dark brown sugar, milk, apple sauce, honey, egg, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and combine until homogenous. Let the batter rest for at least five minutes.
  4. This recipe is super satisfying if you use a doughnut tin, but mini muffin tins work just as well! Using a piping bag or Ziploc, evenly pipe the batter into the tins. Bake the doughnuts for 10 minutes. While they bake, combine the granulated sugar with a touch of cinnamon and reserve. When the doughnuts are finished baking, let them rest for 2-3 minutes before carefully coating in the cinnamon sugar.
