Banana Pumpkin Bread (Edit recipe)

This dessert is a combination of two of my favourite breads: banana and pumpkin! This is the perfect bread to make during the fall season as it is filled with comforting spices and will leave your home smelling heavenly.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash up the three ripe bananas.
  3. Add in the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla and mix until combined.
  4. Add in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and pumpkin pie spice and mix until combined, do not over mix.
  5. Lastly, stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into your loaf pan and top with additional chocolate chips and walnuts (optional).
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before serving and enjoy!
