During the winter months when it’s too cold outside, I love making healthy snack activities with the kids inside. These banana snowmen use pantry items we usually have on hand, entertain the kids, and provide a nutritional snack.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Peel and slice your banana into 1/2 inch thick slices. Place 3 banana round slices on a reusable cake pop stick for the head, body, and lower part of the snowman.
  2. Add a raspberry on each snowman for a hat. Break a pretzel stick in half for arms and place them in the sides of the middle banana slice. Add 2 mini chocolate chips for the eyes, 2 on the body for buttons, and another on the lower part of the body for another button.
  3. Add dried mango for the nose.
  4. Sprinkle shredded coconut shavings on the bottom for snow and add any additional to the snowmen. Enjoy!
