Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. preheat oven to 275.
  2. to a large bowl, add all dry ingredients; set aside.
  3. in a sauce pan over low-medium heat, add all wet ingredients; stir until everything is combined & dissolved.
  4. using a large spatula, thoroughly mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
  5. add snack mix to a baking sheet; then bake for 60-75 minutes, stirring every 15-20 minutes.
  6. remove from oven, then allow to cool completely, then fold in add-ins of choice.
  7. store in an air-tight container for up to 1 week at room temperature or freeze for longer shelf-life.

Notes

  • dry ingredients:
    • 4 bags of your favorite crunchy things (grain-free pretzels, seed oil free chips, fiber-boosted crackers, etc.)
    • 1 bag any protein-rich cereal (catalina crunch is my TOP recommendation here)
    • 1-2 cups nuts, seeds, or chopped BTR nation bars
  • wet ingredients:
    • ¼ cup fat of choice - butter, coconut oil, bacon grease, etc.
    • ½ cup sauce of choice 
    • ¼-½ cup golden monk fruit
    • 1-2 T seasonings of choice
