"where's the bacon? I smell bacon. bacon, bacon. gotta be bacon. only one thing smells like bacon. that's bacon. bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon." I truly think of that commercial every single time I have bacon, which I must say is quite often. this is seriously the BEST, easiest, cleanest way to make a big batch of bacon.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. preheat oven to 400.
  2. line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. evenly space out bacon on baking sheet.
  4. bake for 18-20 minutes or until reaches desired crispness.
  5. drain grease in a bowl - allow to solidify then refrigerate for future use.
  6. transfer bacon to a plate lined with a paper towel & pat dry to remove excess grease.
  7. I like to make a big batch & store in the freezer; to freeze: place cooked bacon on a baking sheet & freeze for 1-2 hours, then transfer bacon to a ziplock bag.
