Enjoy easy homemade guacamole for Cinco de Mayo or Taco Tuesday! Made with fresh ingredients, this recipe is quick, healthy, and delicious.
Ingredients
- 222 Avocado, ripe
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Onion, I use white but if you want a stronger taste i’d suggest using red onion
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Tomato, Cherry, chopped, I love the sweetness and color this provides but you can use any tomatoes
- Lime Juice, from 1 lime
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Cilantro, handful, chopped, can be omitted but I feel fancy when I use it!
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium-sized bowl.
- Mash the Avocado: Use a fork to mash the avocados until they reach your desired consistency. Some prefer chunky guacamole, while others like it smoother.
- Add the remaining Ingredients: Stir in the diced onion, chopped cherry tomatoes, lime juice, salt, pepper, and chopped cilantro. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
- Adjust seasoning: Taste the guacamole and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more salt, pepper, or lime juice to suit your preferences.
- Serve and Enjoy: Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl and serve immediately with Siete Avocado Oil Chips for a delicious snack, or use it to top your favorite taco recipe. You can also spread it on sandwiches for a burst of flavor!
