Easy Homemade Sloppy Joe Sliders
A classic lunchtime recipe made bite size. These sloppy joe sliders are perfect for lunch, dinner, or anytime you're craving nostalgic food!
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Ground Turkey
- 2 cloves2 cloves2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Carrots, medium, finely chopped
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Celery, stalks, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Tomato Sauce
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt and Pepper
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Parsley, dried or basil
- 4 pieces4 pieces4 pieces Provolone Cheese, slices
- 1 bunch1 bunch1 bunch Hawaiian Rolls

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat the oven to 350˚. On medium heat, drizzle olive oil into a medium frying pan, then sautu00e9 the garlic and chopped vegetables until soft and slightly translucent.
- Add in the ground chicken or turkey, and brown until 50% of the turkey is cooked.
- To the turkey, add in the seasonings and mix to combine.
- Add in the tomato paste, stir in well. Pour in the tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
- Reduce the heat to a medium low and let the ground turkey simmer until the meat becomes thick.
- Slice open the rolls and scoop the meat onto the bottoms of the rolls.
- Top with the provolone cheese, then add the tops of the rolls.
- Spread the melted butter and parsley mixture on top of the rolls then bake for 12-13 minutes or until the cheese melts.
