Fool Proof Pizza Dough Recipe (Edit recipe)

Have you ever wanted to make a pizza dough, but thought you couldn’t because of the lack of ingredients or equipment? Well I’m here to change that for you! This pizza dough recipe does not require any fancy flour or equipment. Just your basics that you have in your pantry and your hands!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a bowl, add your warm water, sugar, yeast and mix.
  2. Let that sit for 10 mins until yeast mixture gets big and foamy.
  3. Add your flour, salt and olive oil.
  4. Mix until shaggy dough.
  5. On a clean surface, dust your surface with flour.
  6. Please your shaggy dough on and start kneading.
  7. You will have to need the dough for 9-10 mins until nice and smooth.
  8. Place your dough back in the same bowl, but make sure to add more olive oil and toss dough around in it.
  9. You will need to lubricant the dough so it doesn’t dry out.
  10. Cover it & love it.
  11. Let that sit for 1 1/2- 3 hours or until dough doubles in size.
  12. Once that’s completed, place your dough on a floured surface.
  13. Cut your dough into 2 and form into balls.
  14. This is the step where you can continue making your pizza or you can place into freezer safe bags and in the freezer up to 6 months.
  15. Shall you choose to continue, Cover it again & love it for another 30-45 mins.
  16. On a floured surface, press out your dough and form to desired shape of pizza (circular or rectangular).
  17. Place your pizza dough on a well greased pan.
  18. Top your pizza with your favourite toppings.
  19. In a 450F oven, place your pizza in for 19-22 mins or until desired crispiness.
  20. If your pizza isn’t your desired crispiness, place it back in the oven for 2-3 mins.
  21. Let your pizza cool and set for 5-10 mins.
  22. Or burn your mouth and eat it right away!
  23. Serve and enjoy!
