French Onion chips & dip
This French onion dip is made with rich, slow cooked caramelized onions, blended into a creamy, savory dip bursting with deep umami flavor. Paired with crispy, homemade potato chips seasoned with French onion spices, each bite gives the perfect mix of creamy and crunchy indulgence.
Ingredients
For French Onion dip
- 4 oz4 oz4 oz Cream Cheese, Whipped
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp French Onion Seasoning Mix - Primal Palate
- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Caramelized onions (click for recipe)
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Kosher Salt
For potato chips
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Potatoes, Russet, scrubbed
- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp White Vinegar, distilled
- 8 cups8 cups8 cups Water
- 8 cups8 cups8 cups Vegetable Oil, for frying, adjust if needed

- Section; For potato chips
- Using a mandoline slicer, cut the potatoes using the thin setting.
- Add potatoes to a large bowl with water and vinegar, allow to sit for 1 hour.
- Drain and dry the sliced potatoes thoroughly using paper towel or a clean kitchen towel.
- Heat the oil to medium low in a heavy bottom saucepan and fry until crispy.
- In a small bowl, combine the French onion seasoning and salt, sprinkle the chips as soon as they come out of the oil.
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
- Serve desired amount of chips and dip, enjoy!
