Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Chocolate chip cookie bars
  2. Prepare the flax eggs by combining the ground flax seed and warm water. Stir to combine and set aside for 5 minutes to gel.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350˚F degrees and prepare an 8x8-inch baking pan with non-stick baking spray and two pieces of parchment paper. Set aside.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, flax eggs, and vanilla and mix until combined.
  5. Add in the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt and mix until a soft dough forms.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until just combined and transfer the dough to the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes (less if you prefer an ultra-fudgy bar) and remove from the oven. Allow to fully cool in the pan before removing and slicing. Enjoy!
  8. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 7 days or frozen for up to 6 months.
