Gluten Free Garlic Parmesan Rolls (Edit recipe)

Our new Gluten Free Dinner Roll recipe is sure fun to play with! We couldn't help but try turning that standard dinner roll into something with a crunchy exterior. Who doesn't enjoy a little savory texture to their warm roll?! The coating bakes up crunchy, slightly salty and absolutely yummy. They come together quite easily and my oh my, the aroma wafting around the kitchen while they bake is mouthwatering! Baking in a muffin tin provides extra crispy edges to enjoy, but see notes below for a baking variation, it's really up to you!

Ingredients

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Prepare two muffin tins* by coating with avocado spray or oil.
  2. Place panko, parmesan cheese, basil and garlic blend in a bowl, fluffing to combine. Place the melted butter in another bowl, setting both aside.
  3. Make dinner rolls as directed and divide into 24 equal dough balls.
  4. Dip dough ball into the butter, allowing excess to drip off then roll in the panko mixture to coat. Place in the prepared muffin tin, repeat with all dough balls. Brush tops of each with melted butter, if desired.
  5. Using kitchen shears, make three deep cuts in each dough ball. One in the middle with one on each side.
  6. Cover with plastic and allow to rise for 20 minutes in a warm spot in your kitchen.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350°.
  8. When rolls have risen, place in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden.
  9. Allow to cool slightly in the muffin tin for 3-4 minutes, then remove and enjoy!
  10. Best served warm! Store leftovers in an airtight container or bag at room temperature, enjoy within a few days.

Notes

*You can also bake these in a couple large baking dishes like you would standard dinner rolls. Prepare the baking dish by spraying it with avocado oil. I like the muffin tin approach only because it provides more crispy edges!
