- Empty one 3.94 packet of any flavor of choice Gelatin/jello mix into a cold pot.
- Add in 2 tbsp unflavored gelatin
- Add 1 cup water and stir (less water will create a slighty more firm gummy but may increase gelatin flavor.)
- Turn on burner to medium heat and stir periodically until
- The mixture is thick and clear with no lumps.
- Remove from heat and immediately move to molds or container to cool.
- Place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before enjoying.
- (An hour or longer is ideal for texture) If putting in a regular container you will want to cut into cubes otherwise you'll have one huge gummy!
- Keep in fridge for freshness and firmness, lasts about 2 days before gummies begin to dry out on edges.
Notes
**Healthier swaps** For this recipe I used a regular sugar packet of jello but to drastically lower the calories and sugar, I recommend using sugar free jello. Also using pure bovine gelatin adds more protien without sacrificing flavor or texture. Amazing macros for calorie counters. Molds: I have used several molds for this recipe, I love the dinosaur molds from Walmart, this recipe yields about 30 gummies, or 2 mold sheets. Note* using a syringe is great for a mess free distribution of the melted gelatin mixture.
