High Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Treats (Edit recipe)

Guilt Free with only 5 ingredients and no baking makes these so simple and the perfect snack or treat!  I use Organic Peanut Butter with only 2 ingredients, salt and peanuts.  It does require stirring but I find this peanut butter works best with my recipe or the filling will be too dry.  This is the perfect combo of peanut butter, pure maple syrup, protein powder, and almond flour creating the creamy filling and surrounded by a decadent chocolate shell made of dairy free semi-sweet chocolate.  Enjoy!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. melt first bag in microwave save bowl for 30 second intervals and stir in between. pour into mini muffin tins filled with paper cupcake liners or preferably using mini silicone molds. Chill in freezer for 10 minutes while preparing filling. Add all other ingredients and stir. Remove tray from freezer and add 1 teaspoon of filling to each. Melt final bag of chocolate and pour on top of each. chill for 40 minutes and enjoy!

Notes

I used dairy free semi sweet chocolate chips.  you can substitute with any chocolate.  I highly recommend natural stir peanut butter with only two ingredients.  I used a vegan protein powder but your favorite powder can easily be substituted.
