Homemade Oreos
This homemade version is pretty simple, is gluten, dairy, and refined sugar free, and can made in any holiday coordinating color you choose! Can you guess which holiday I was celebrating at the time? ☘️
Ingredients
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Almond Flour
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Oat Flour
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Raw Cacao Powder
- 5 Tbsp5 Tbsp5 Tbsp Coconut Sugar
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Egg
- 5 Tbsp5 Tbsp5 Tbsp Coconut Oil, Melted
- 1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp1.5 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Vanilla Frosting (Simple Mills)

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Combine your dry ingredients together, then combine wet in a separate bowl
- Pour wet into dry until dough forms
- Place in fridge for 15 minutes
- Roll dough btwn 2 pieces of parchment paper, then take a small oreo-size cookie cutter to create your cookies. I got 26 (13 oreo cookie sandwiches)
- Place on parchment paper and bake at 350 for 7-8 minutes
- Allow to cool on baking sheet then place on cooling rack until cool to touch
- I used organic vanilla icing with color kitchen goods natural green dye, piped on half of the cookies
- Place cookie sandwiches in the fridge until frosting has set
- Enjoy!
