JUICY TURKEY BURGER RECIPE
Turkey burgers have had bad reps in the past due to being super dry, commonly for being overcooked. These turkey burgers still remain juicy even if you do slightly overcook them. They have ingredients that help maintain moisture, but also it all comes down to your method. Try this recipe out and let me know what you think.
Ingredients
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Ground Turkey
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Yellow Onion, Smaller or 1 large
- 1 clove1 clove1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Gluten-Free Italian Bread Crumbs, I use sourdough
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Egg
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Parsley

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a large bow, add your turkey meat plus all your ingredients.
- Mix just until combined.
- divide into 6 burger patties using damp hands.
- Place on parchment paper squares for easy handling.
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until firmed up.
- These also freeze great!
- On a hot skillet, add your high smoke point oil ( I use avocado always)
- Lower temperature to medium heat.
- Place your patties on the skillet and sear for 4-5 mins.
- Flip and sear on other side for an additional 4-5 mins.
- You should only be flipping patties once.
- To ensure burgers are cooked to perfection, I highly recommend using a meat thermometer.
- Once burger reaches 165F - burgers are done.
- Place on bun of choice with toppings of choice.
- Serve and enjoy.
