  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef/turkey and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in carrots, tomato paste, broth, coconut aminos, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  5. Let simmer 5–7 minutes, then mix in peas.
  6. In a small saucepan, warm the Palmini mash with butter /ghee and milk.
  7. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  8. Add salt, pepper, and nutritional yeast if using.
  9. Spread the meat mixture in a baking dish.
  10. Top evenly with the Palmini mash and smooth the surface with a spatula.
  11. Bake for 20 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  12. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Optional add-ins: Sprinkle shredded cheese or dairy-free cheese on top before baking. Add chopped mushrooms or lentils for extra texture.
