you know those tasty little wasabi peas on a salad bar? well… unfortunately, they’re not usually gluten-free or made with the best ingredients — until now! 💚 this homemade version is salty, umami-packed, & totally addictive. made with real ingredients like fermented tamari, miso, & wasabi powder for that bold flavor punch, plus no junk or added sugar. perfect for tossing on salads, mixing into your favorite snack mix, or eating by the handful (trust me, you will).

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. preheat oven to 275.
  2. in a sauce pan over medium heat, add all ingredients, except freeze-dried legumes.
  3. heat until everything is combined & dissolved.
  4. remove from heat, then add in freeze-dried legumes.
  5. add legumes to a baking sheet; then bake for 45-60 minutes, stirring every 15-20 minutes.
  6. remove from oven, then allow to cool completely.
  7. enjoy on salads, in snack mixes, or just by the handful!
