Muddy Buddies – Barbie Edition (gluten free) (Edit recipe)

A variation of the classic “muddy buddy” snack with a lil’ Barbie blush! I used a few of my favorite ingredients. Feel free to use your preferred chocolate cereal (or flavor of choice), mini pretzels and cookies for the perfect combo. Get creative and have fun.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Add cereal and add-ins to a large bowl, set aside.
  2. Melt white chocolate, nut butter and coconut oil in a double broiler until all melted and fully combined. If using prickly pear powder, sprinkle in 1 tsp and stir to incorporate.
  3. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal and stir to coat completely.
  4. Add powdered sugar and 1 tsp prickly pear powder (if using) to a large bag, tossing to combine then add coated cereal the the bag and toss to coat.
  5. Spread out onto a parchment lined baking sheet to set up.
  6. To make the drizzle, melt white chocolate, prickly pear powder and coconut oil, stirring to combine well. Drizzle over cereal mixture, add sprinkles and allow to set up completely.
  7. Once set, break apart and store in an airtight container.
