Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place 3 pecans together into a triangle shape.
  2. Add the milk, syrup, oil, sugar, and salt to a saucepan. Boil mixture for 5 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce heat to low, then stir continuously for 5 minutes. Remove saucepan from the heat, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Pour caramel in a small bowl or container and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
  6. Spoon about 1-2 teaspoons of caramel over each cluster, then allow to set. Dip your spoon into a bowl of water before scooping up caramel for mess-free pouring.
  7. Melt the chocolate and oil in a small saucepan on stovetop. Stir until smooth. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then pour about a teaspoon of chocolate over top of the caramel. Sprinkle sea salt over the top.

Notes

Place in an airtight container, store at room temperature or fridge for 3 weeks or in freezer for up to 3 months.
