Pumpkin Spice Baked Donuts (Edit recipe)

These incredibly easy to make pumpkin spiced donuts are soft and filled with warm spices. Rather than being fried like traditional donuts, these are baked, making them fluffy and perfect for dunking in your coffee (or pumpkin spice latte!) These are definitely the ultimate fall treat.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Start by mixing the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and pumpkin pie spice in a separate bowl and set aside.
  3. in a large mixing bowl, add the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated white sugar and melted butter and mix until well combined.
  4. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract and stir until incorporated.
  5. While your mixer or you are stirring, slowly add the dry ingredients in increments.
  6. Once all the dry ingredients have been incorporated, slowly add in the milk while continuously stirring until well combined.
  7. Put the mixture into a piping bag or a large resealable bag and fill your donut pans about 3/4 of the way.
  8. Bake the donuts for about 10-12 minutes.
  9. Prepare the topping by melting the butter in one bowl, and mixing the granulated sugar and cinnamon in another.
  10. While the donuts are slightly warm, brush the tops with melted butter, dip them into the cinnamon sugar mixture and enjoy!
