Sausage Broccolini Orecchiette
Looking for an easy 15 minute pasta dish that will leave you wanting seconds? Then you're definitely going to want to make this one. This recipe is a single serving, so I suggest you doubling the recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Pasta, Orecchiette

- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Sweet Italian Sausage

- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Baby Broccolini
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Tomato Paste

- 1 clove1 clove1 clove Garlic

- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Red Wine, Cabernet Sauvignon
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Salt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Wash and cut up your broccolini.
- In your pan, sauté your sausage for about 2-3 mins until half way cooked or so.
- Remove sausage and set aside.
- in a pot bring your water to a boil.
- add salt, then add your oriecchiette.
- lower heat, then add your garlic and sauté.
- add your broccolini in and saute for another 2 mins.
- Add your tomato pasta and cook out the raw flavour for about 1-2 mins.
- deglaze with red wine of choice and reduce simmer for 2-3 mins.
- add your sausage back in along with your pasta.
- add your pasta water and let that all come together for about 3-4 mins.
- add parmesan, then mix in.
- once pasta is done, plate it and add more parmesan on top.
