Slow Cooker Cheese Stuffed Meatballs and Sauce
Want to take your spaghetti up a notch? Try these Cheese Stuffed Meatballs! These meatballs are the perfect comfort food that you can have prepped in your slow cooker for any busy weeknight!
Ingredients
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb 80/20 - Bachman Family Farms Ground Beef
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese
- 1-1.5 cups1-1.5 cups1-1.5 cups Breadcrumbs, variety of choice
- 3 whole3 whole3 whole Eggs
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Ground Fresh Black Peppercorns
- 2 cloves2 cloves2 cloves Garlic, minced
- .25 cup.25 cup.25 cup Parsley, chopped
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp dried Oregano
- 4 oz4 oz4 oz Fresh Mozzarella, divided into 12 pieces (can use mozzarella cheese sticks cut into ¼)
- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 48 oz48 oz48 oz Marinara Sauce, or pasta sauce of choice
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Spaghetti, cooked al dente

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a large bowl combine ground beef, Parmesan, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic, basil, parsley and dried oregano. Add breadcrumbs ½ cup at a time until mixture is not too wet and can be formed into balls easily. Form into 12 balls using your thumb to press a hole into the center.
- Insert a piece of the fresh mozzarella into the hole and close the hole by pushing the meatball mixture around it to secure the mozzarella inside each ball
- Heat a large saucepan with olive oil over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned. With slotted spoon, transfer meatballs into crock pot. Pour tomato sauce over the meatballs and cook on low for approximately 5 hours.
- Serve stuffed meatballs and sauce over spaghetti.
