- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Baking Powder

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Baking Soda
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Salt

Orange Glaze
- 1.5 cups1.5 cups1.5 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Orange Zest

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract, optional (but rounds out the flavor)

Cookies
- Cream butter + sugar. Add egg, ricotta, sourdough, and vanilla.
- Stir in dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt) until smooth and thick.
- Chill at least 1 hour for best shape. I chill overnight.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto parchment.
- Bake at 350°F for 12–14 minutes, until puffed and matte.
- Let set on a cooling rack 15–20 minutes until shiny and firm.
- Drizzle orange glaze on top of the cookies.
Orange Glaze
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar + orange zest.
- Add 2 Tbsp half and half and whisk until smooth.
- Add additional half and half, 1 tsp at a time until you reach a drizzle-able glaze.
- Whisk in vanilla extract (optional).
