Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Place clean strawberry tops into a clean glass jar.
- Pour the vinegar over the strawberry tops, making sure they are completely submerged.
- Seal the jar tightly and shake well.
- Store the jar in a cool, dark place, shaking it every day or two. For the freshest flavor, I recommend storing it in the refrigerator, although it can also be kept on the counter away from direct sunlight.
- After about 4 to 5 days, begin tasting the vinegar. If you'd like a stronger strawberry flavor, continue infusing for up to 1 to 2 weeks.
- Once the vinegar has reached your desired flavor, strain out the strawberry tops using a fine-mesh strainer.
- Transfer the infused vinegar to a clean glass bottle or jar with a tight-fitting lid.
- Store the finished strawberry-infused vinegar in the refrigerator for the best quality. It will keep for several months.
