Sweet And Sour Prawns
Looking for a summer bite that’s light, bright, and just a little bit fancy without the fuss? These Sweet and Sour Prawns are your answer. Juicy peaches, buttery avocado, a tangy splash of Worcestershire, and a pop of lemon layered into one zesty little glass.
Ingredients
- large cooked prawns (sheel removed and tail left intact)large cooked prawns (sheel removed and tail left intact)
- 222 Peaches, yellow
- 222 Avocado
- 111 Lemon

- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- Fresh dillFresh dill
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Salt and Pepper, (to taste)
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Peel, remove the pits, and slice the peaches and avocados into small cubes.
- Cut the lemon in half and squeeze one half over the peach avocado mixture. Slice the remaining half of the lemon into thin slices.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce to the peach avocado cubes and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Divide the peach and avocado mixture into four small containers or glasses. Add some of the dill. Place one prawn on each glass with a slice of lemon.
- Serve chilled.
Notes
You can chill the peaches and avocado cubes with lemon in the refrigerator for a few hours before assembling them with the remaining ingredients. Use large shrimps instead of prawns if you wish. Add some cut-up prawns to the peach avocado mixture to make it a little richer.
