I’ve been known to drive 30 minutes out of my way for an ube latte 😉 So to say I like ube is an understatement. It has such a lovely flavor of vanilla and nuts, that added to a latte is heaven. Ube is a Filipino flavoring and the purple color is always beautiful.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a Mason jar add milk and using a frother slowly add the ube powder. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and continue to blend.
  3. In a glass add the cold brew until about 2/3 full. Pour in the ube milk until glass if full.
  4. For a hot latte make the Americano and warm the ube milk until slightly frothy.
  5. Pour into the Americano and enjoy.

Notes

If you want it slightly less sweet I reduce the sweetened condensed milk to 3 Tbsp and increase the whole milk to 1.25 cups.
