White Cheddar and Mushroom Hamburgers
Grilling season is here and that means a batch of delicious hamburgers will make for the perfect summer evening. Your hamburgers just got an upgrade too with US Wellness Meats. Ingredients
- .5 lb.5 lb.5 lb US Wellness Meats Ground Beef (85% Lean)
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Egg
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Simply Cheetos White Cheddar Puffs
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Baby Bella Mushrooms, Diced
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Sea Salt
- 0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp0.5 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- .5 Tbsp.5 Tbsp.5 Tbsp White Pepper

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- 1. In food chopper, add the half cup of white cheddar Cheeto puffs and chop until they become flour like. Add this to a mixing bowl. Then add the egg and whisk together.
- 2. On a cutting board, dice the mushrooms into small pieces. Add to the egg and Cheeto mixture, and whisk together.
- 3. Add the ground beef, sea salt, garlic powder and white pepper. Mix together using a fork or your hand.
- 4. Either light up the grill or heat your skillet on medium. If using a skillet, add olive oil to the pan. Place your formed burger patties onto the heated skillet and cook until the burgers are cooked perfectly.
- 5. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Notes
I used the trader joes white cheddar Cheeto puffs for this recipe. The puffs are made from corn making this gluten free. You could replace the Cheeto puffs with regular bread crumbs and actual white cheddar if you prefer. This recipe is built for two burgers, but you can increase this recipe by doubling to make 4 or tripling to make 6, and etc.
