Homemade Avocado Oil Mayonnaise
Once you start, you’ll never stop. This is one of those things that’s worthwhile to make yourself, not just because of the flavor, but the cost savings. We buy our avocado oil from Costco, the brand is Chosen Foods.b
Ingredients
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Avocado Oil
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Dry Mustard Powder
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Lemon Juice, (or Apple Cider Vinegar)
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Egg, cracked

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Place all ingredients in a jar that will fit an immersion blender. Most regular mouth jars will not. I personally prefer a Weck jar.
- Place immersion blender atop your egg yolk and start blending. As you see white, slowly pull the blender up from the bottom. Move it around until completely combined.

Notes
Add herbs if you’d like! Add some hot sauce or chili oil. This is the base for so many amazing dips and sauces! I do not suggest using other oils as friends have had not great results.
