Easy Guacamole
If you know me, I’ve probably brought this as a dip to your house. If I haven’t, shame on me?! Elevate your taco Tuesday or Cinco de Mayo with one of the EASIEST side dips you’ll ever make: GUACAMOLE! Unlike traditional recipes, I like to add milk and omit the raw tomatoes (bc gross)! Customize it however your palette desires. P.S. BROWN GUAC is a no no. Find out hacks to keep avocado from browning, in the notes below.
Ingredients
- 3 whole3 whole3 whole Avocado
- .5 bunch.5 bunch.5 bunch Cilantro, chopped
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Red Onion, finely diced
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Milk, I used raw goat, any work! Yes, I’ve even tried unsweet almond milk in a pinch
- 1 - 2 whole1 - 2 whole1 - 2 whole Lime, Juiced, Use .5-1.5, depending on how much juice you lime has
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Onion Powder
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Everything but the Elote Seasoning (Trader Joe's), OPTIONAL
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Roma Tomato, cubed
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole raw Serrano, use as much as you'd like depending on your heat preference
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Jalapeño, use as much as you'd like depending on your heat preference

Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- 1. Carefully slice and pit your avocados. Add to a large bowl and mash w a fork.
- 2. Chop cilantro and onion. Add onion to ice cold water for 10 min to remove strong flavor. Strain well and pat dry.
- 3. Add cilantro and onion, gently stir.
- 4. Lastly add milk, lime juice, seasonings, and any additional mix-ins. Combine well and plate.
- 5. Serve immediately!
Notes
For a anti-brown guacamole hack: add cling wrap, leave your pit in your guac, and release any air in your container. Leaving a thin layer of lime juice may help as well!
