Trader Joe’s Philly Cheesesteak Hashbrowns
For the people who HATE leftovers, this recipe will change your life! Make these for breakfast, lunch or an afternoon snack 😋
Ingredients
- 888 Frozen Hash Browns, I used Trader Joe's
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Sirloin Steak, or ribeye, shaved

- 2 clove2 clove2 clove Garlic, minced

- 1/3 tsp1/3 tsp1/3 tsp Sea Salt

- 1/3 tsp1/3 tsp1/3 tsp Black Pepper

- 1/2 cup1/2 cup1/2 cup Green Bell Pepper, thinly sliced, about 1 small pepper
- 1/2 cup1/2 cup1/2 cup Red Bell Pepper, thinly sliced, about 1 small pepper
- 1/21/21/2 Onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Crimini Mushrooms, sliced
- 6 pieces6 pieces6 pieces Provolone Cheese

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat the air fryer to 400F and line the basket with air fryer parchment for easier cleanup.
- Place the hashbrowns in the air fryer basket and cook for 4-8 minutes or until crispy and warmed through. Transfer the hashbrowns to a plate and set aside.

- Add the steak, garlic, salt, pepper, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms and olive oil to a large mixing bowl and toss until combined. Place the steak mixture in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked. Then top the mixture with sliced provolone cheese in a single layer and continue cooking for about 2 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
- Then use a spatula or tongs to transfer the cooked steak mixture on top of the hashbrowns. You can place them back in the air fryer for a minute or two to warm up the hashbrowns if you like!
