This little treat is oh so tasty! These double chocolate protein cups are the perfect treat to have in your freezer. They are healthy, filled with protein, have good fats, and they are delicious! I cannot recommend something like this to have in your fridge for an after lunch treat, or even for something small for the kids to enjoy!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a mixing bowl, add the almond flour, protein powder, peanut butter and almond milk. Mix together until a cookie dough texture forms. Set aside.
  2. Melt chocolate. Spoon a small bit of melted chocolate in the bottom of a mini cupcake liner. Roll cookie dough into bite size coins and press into the chocolate. Top with more chocolate. Add a sprinkle of sea salt (optional).
  3. Place in the freezer to let the chocolate harden. Enjoy!

Notes

If you don’t have a chocolate peanut butter, you can add cocoa powder to the mix to make it double chocolate. You may want to add more peanut butter or almond milk because cocoa powder will make the mix more dry!
