Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a large pot, melt your unsalted butter over medium heat.
  2. Once melted, continue cooking, swirling the pan occasionally, until the butter turns golden brown and smells nutty (about 4-7 minutes). Be careful not to burn it.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and add the marshmallows to the browned butter. Stir constantly until the marshmallows are fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  4. OPTIONAL: Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  5. Quickly fold in the rice cereal and Nana Joes Sunrise Granola until fully coated in the marshmallow mixture. Work quickly before it sets.
  6. Grease or line a 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  7. Press the mixture evenly into the pan using a greased measuring cup or your hands.
  8. Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before slicing into squares.
  9. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Notes

If your treats get a bit hard after the day you make them, pop them into your microwave/air fryer (300 degrees F) for about 30s to soften.
