Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar, set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, yogurt, honey, baking powder, salt, dates, and half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Once dough comes together, cut into four pieces, roll them and shape into hearts. If dough is too sticky, add a little bit of flour to it as needed.
- Boil water in a pot and add baking soda and honey or maple syrup to the water to sweeten a bit. Transfer bagels to the boiling water and allow them to cook for 30 seconds on each side. Transfer bagels to a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Brush bagels with an egg wash or with some avocado oil. Top bagels with remaining cinnamon sugar mix.
- Bake the bagels for 20-25 minutes. Might need less or more time depending on your oven!
- Once bagels have finished baking, remove them from the oven enjoy!
