These chicken sausage bowls are the easiest lunch! I prep the other ingredients over the weekend (with salt and pepper) and cook the sausage to serve so it tastes super fresh. The dressing gives it the perfect flavor pop.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. 1. Add the chopped sausage to the base of your air fryer and top with a bit of avocado oil spray. Toss and cook in the air fryer at 400 F for 10-12 minutes, tossing halfway until the sausage is cooked to your liking.
  2. 2. Assemble your bowl with the cooked rice, cooked broccoli, cooked sausage, pickled onions, and a drizzle of the dressing. Serve fresh!

Notes

I cook the rice in the rice cooker, and roast the broccoli in the oven. All you really need is salt and pepper and a cooking fat of your choice as the dressing and pickled onion adds plenty of flavor!
