Blackened Pork Chop with Granny Smith and Pineapple Pico
We're ready for grill season! Blackened seasoning is one of my favorites to grill with. These pork chops are so delicious and easy to prep. ENJOY!
Ingredients
- 222 Boneless Pork Chops - US Wellness Meats
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Paprika
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
- 0.125 tsp0.125 tsp0.125 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Cumin, Ground
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Thyme, Dried
- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Onion Powder
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Oregano, Dried
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 111 Apple, Granny Smith, Diced
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Pineapple, Diced
- 0.2 Tbsp0.2 Tbsp0.2 Tbsp Red Onion, Diced
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Garlic, Minced
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Lime Juice
- 111 Cilantro, 1 Handful, Finely Chopped
PICO INGREDIENTS
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a small mixing bowl add all of the seasoning and AVO. Mix well and add the pork. Marinate for at least 4 hours.
- In a separate mixing bowl add the pico ingredients, store in the fridge until ready to serve.
- Preheat the grill to 450° F.
- Grill the pork for 5 minutes.
- Flip and grill for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove the pork from the grill and let it sit for a few minutes.
- The internal temperature should be 140F.
- Serve with Pico.
