Mini Protein Packed Apple Pies
Okay talk about a fun treat for your picky toddler. Mine loves apple, so I thought I could turn the apple into something sweeter, but with extra nutrients! That’s what I did with these apple pies! I added Greek yogurt for protein and the kids loved every bite!
Ingredients
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Apple, Gala
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Pie Crust, Refrigerated, Or crescent rolls

- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Honey

- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Plain Greek Yogurt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pie crust and cut into 8 pizza slices using a pizza cutter. Add a spoonful of Greek yogurt to each slice and spread on top.
- Slice your apple into thin slices. Add two slices to each pizza slice. Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey. Roll up to look like a crescent roll.
- Place on baking sheet and place in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Mix your heavy cream, maple syrup and Greek yogurt together until it becomes thick. Drizzle on top of the apple pies. Let them enjoy!
