Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Run cold water over just-cooked, pasta in colander in kitchen sink until pasta is cool to the touch. Drain of excess water then add pasta to large bowl.
- Add 4 Tbsp white wine vinegar to pasta; stir.
- Add 6 Tbsp mayo & sea salt; stir.
- Add chopped lettuce; stir.
- Add chopped grape tomatoes; stir.
- Add chopped bacon; stir. (*If making one day in advance, wait to add the bacon until ready to serve so bacon remains crisp*).
- Add remaining 2 Tbsp mayo (do not stir). Sprinkle Primal Palate French Onion Seasoning Mix directly on top of mayo, followed by remaining 1 Tbsp white wine vinegar; stir to combine well with pasta salad ingredients.
- Cover bowl; keep in fridge until ready to serve (or can be served immediately). Serves 10-14+ as a side dish.
Notes
Egg-free. Dairy-free. Nut-free. Gluten-free. Sesame-free. Can make the morning of a party or make the night before and keep covered in fridge until ready to serve. If making the night before, I recommend adding bacon, and stirring bacon into pasta salad, right before serving, to keep bacon crisp. Also delicious served as a main dish for a summer dinner. Can add grilled chicken, cedar plank-grilled salmon or grilled, sliced steak on top too. Yum!
