Macro-Friendly Brownies
These macro-friendly brownies made with cottage cheese are what happens when dessert and post workout meal prep have a baby. And yes, they’re actually good—I wouldn’t lie about brownies. Just don’t tell anyone they’re “healthy” until after they fall in love.
7g protein, 8g carbs, and 2g fat - not bad for a sweet treat! Make this to have a sweet treat on hand and to pair with a smoothie bowl or yogurt for more of a complete meal in brownie form.
Ingredients

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Baking Powder

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Baking Soda

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Mix everything together in a large bowl.
- Pour into an 8x8 dish lined with parchment paper.
- Bake at 350 for 20-25 min.
- Let cool at least 15 min before cutting. Store in fridge.
Notes
These aren’t thick and indulgent like a typical brownie due to the very low fat count. However, they are still sweet and tasty and do the trick to curb that sweet tooth! I've used both of these protein powders in this recipe and they both work great. To keep the fat low, I suggest this one from Peachie Spoon (JOYFUL12 gives you a discount).
