Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper, and spray with cooking spray. You can also use a silicone ice mold.
  2. If using chocolate bars, break them up into bite sized pieces. Combine chocolate and nut butter in a saucepan, and melt together over low heat. Alternatively, you can also microwave the mixture to melt.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract.
  4. Pour into the prepared baking pan or ice mold. Sprinkle crushed candy canes or any other toppings, if using.
  5. Freeze for at least 1 hour.
  6. Remove from the pan by using the parchment paper, then cut into squares or pop out of the mold.
  7. Store in the refrigerator for up to a month or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
