Against The Grain French Toast
Simple gluten-free and delicious french toast for a smaller serving to share.
Ingredients
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Milk
- 3 whole3 whole3 whole Egg
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 4 Tbsp4 Tbsp4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Gluten and Grain Free Baguette - Against the Grain

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk milk, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon together. Pour into s shallow baking dish.
- Set bread slices in the mixture, press down and flip them over and press the other side. Transfer to a baking sheet.
- Melt 1 Tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add bread rounds and cook 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown. Add addition butter and repeat.
- Serve warm with maple syrup.
