Need a game day snack? Appetizer? Salty-sweet craving? These bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese hit the spot! They are my go-to appetizer for all occasions. The best part is you can use whatever sharp cheese you have in your fridge, if you’re not a goat cheese fan. Provecho amigos!

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Mix cheeses together with honey until well combined.
  2. Cut dates in half and fill with honey cheese mixture.
  3. Wrap stuffed dates with bacon strips. I like to split my bacon in half and use one half to wrap one date.
  4. Place in 425° oven for 20-25 min until bacon is fully cooked.

Notes

For an even easier version, you can also just use goat cheese and honey and omit the cream cheese and parmesan. Just increase the goat cheese to about 3/4 cup.
