Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Take your well-rinsed quinoa and add 2 packets of instant bone broth, water, and a pinch of salt. Mix it together thoroughly until all of the bone broth seasoning is well incorporated, and bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer, cover, and let cook for about 15 minutes, or until all the liquid has simmered off.
  3. Turn off the heat and fluff the quinoa with a fork. Add in the garlic, butter, and parsley, and mix until the butter is melted and garlic is fragrant.
  4. Garnish with a little extra fresh parsley and serve warm as a side!

Notes

Quinoa should always be rinsed first before cooking. There are varying opinions on how to cook quinoa—some suggest a ratio of 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups of water to 1 cup of quinoa, while others recommend a 2:1 ratio. After bringing it to a boil, some recommend cooking it uncovered on low, while others suggest cooking it covered on low. You can experiment with this recipe to find which method you prefer best!
