- Take your well-rinsed quinoa and add 2 packets of instant bone broth, water, and a pinch of salt. Mix it together thoroughly until all of the bone broth seasoning is well incorporated, and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce to a simmer, cover, and let cook for about 15 minutes, or until all the liquid has simmered off.
- Turn off the heat and fluff the quinoa with a fork. Add in the garlic, butter, and parsley, and mix until the butter is melted and garlic is fragrant.
- Garnish with a little extra fresh parsley and serve warm as a side!
Notes
Quinoa should always be rinsed first before cooking. There are varying opinions on how to cook quinoa—some suggest a ratio of 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups of water to 1 cup of quinoa, while others recommend a 2:1 ratio. After bringing it to a boil, some recommend cooking it uncovered on low, while others suggest cooking it covered on low. You can experiment with this recipe to find which method you prefer best!
