Process

  1. Melt butter and chocolate together, set aside.
  2. Mix apple puree and coconut sugar, then fold in the chocolate mixture and vanilla.
  3. Sift in flour, cacao, and baking powder, then fold everything together.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry, spread the brownie mix on top, then roll it up.
  5. Cut into 8-10 swirls, place on a baking sheet, and brush with butter or oil.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18-20 mins until golden.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar or chopped hazelnuts & enjoy!
