Cherry Chocolate Chip Ninja Creami
This Cherry Chocolate Chip Ninja Creami is a creamy homemade cherry ice cream made with sweet cherries, vanilla yogurt, and a hint of almond and vanilla. Melted dark chocolate is spun right into the ice cream to create thin, crisp chocolate flecks in every bite. It’s an easy Ninja Creami recipe packed with cherry and chocolate flavor.

- Add the frozen cherries and sugar to a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cherries are tender and have released their juices, creating a light syrup. Remove from the heat.
- Add the cherry mixture to a blender along with the milk, vanilla yogurt, almond extract, vanilla bean paste, and salt. Blend until completely smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, making sure not to exceed the MAX FILL line. Cover and freeze on a level surface for 18–24 hours, or until completely solid.
- When ready to serve, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in the microwave in short intervals or in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth.
- Run the outside of the Creami container under warm water for about 10–15 seconds. Place the pint in the Ninja Creami and process using the Ice Cream setting.
- Remove the pint and use a spoon or butter knife to make a small hole down the center of the ice cream. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the hole.
- Return the pint to the Ninja Creami and process using the Re-Spin setting. The melted chocolate will harden as it hits the frozen ice cream and break into small chocolate flecks throughout.
- If needed, Re-Spin once more until the ice cream reaches your desired creamy consistency. Serve immediately.
Notes
If you are not a big fan of almond extract you can reduce it to 1/8 tsp.
Use a high quality vanilla yogurt for this recipe. I like Siggi’s or Painterland Sisters.
