Chipotle Ranch Veggie Burgers

Ingredients
For the Chipotle Ranch Sauce
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Plant-Based Mayonnaise
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Plant-Based Plain Yogurt, unsweetened, or non-dairy sour cream
- 222 Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce, (they come in a can)
- 0.50.50.5 Lime, juice only, about 1 tbsp

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Dill, Dried, or 1 tbsp fresh dill

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Garlic Powder, or 2 garlic cloves

- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Onion Powder

- 0.25 tsp0.25 tsp0.25 tsp Salt

For the Burgers
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Olive Oil

- 444 Black Bean Veggie Burger - Actual Veggies, thawed, or plant-based patties of choice

- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Salt and Pepper, to taste
For Serving
- 444 Hamburger Buns, I used Dave's Killer Bread whole grain buns
- 444 Vegan Cheddar Cheese, Sliced, I used Follow Your Heart
- 111 Tomato, sliced
- 0.50.50.5 Red Onion, sliced into rings

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Start by making the chipotle ranch sauce. In a small food processor or blender, combine yogurt (or sour cream), mayonnaise, chipotle peppers, lime juice, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Blend until completely smooth. Chill until ready to use.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season black bean burger patties with salt and pepper to your liking. Once oil is hot, add the patties and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side, or until browned and firmed up.
- Top patties with cheese slices and cover the pan with a lid to lightly melt. Warm or toast buns.
- To assemble the burgers, spread a tablespoon of chipotle ranch on each of the top and bottom buns. Add the patties with cheese, tomato, red onion, and lettuce. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Chipotle ranch dressing recipe yields about 1 ¼ cups of dressing.
