these chocolate fudge crunch bars are everything you want in a snack. rich, fudgy, a little bit crunchy, and made with simple wholefood ingredients.   they come together in one bowl with no baking needed, and each bar packs a good hit of protein thanks to the soy crisps and choc malt protein powder.   perfect for meal prep, an afternoon pick-me-up, or a sweet treat after dinner!!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Add peanut butter, maple syrup, cocoa powder and protein powder to a bowl and mix until smooth and combined.
  2. Gently fold through soy crisps.
  3. Press mixture firmly into a silicone or lined loaf tin and smooth the top
  4. Drizzle melted chocolate over the top and spread thin
  5. Chill in fridge 2-3 hours until set, then slice and enjoy!

Notes

tip: if the mix looks a bit dry, stir in an extra 1 tbsp maple syrup or a splash of milk before pressing into the tin
