Cilantro Spinach Chutney Pops
These cilantro spinach chutney ice pops can be used to give a burst of flavor to any dish or meal! These ice pops are a great way to make the fresh chutney last longer without any preservatives!
Ingredients
- 4 cups4 cups4 cups Cilantro, fresh roughly chopped, stems included
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Spinach, roughly chopped
- 3 whole3 whole3 whole Serrano, Raw, chopped
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Roasted Chana Dal, roasted chick peas
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Coconut Flakes, Unsweetened, soaked in hot water for 15 mins
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Sea Salt
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Lime Juice, freshly squeezed
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Ginger Root, finely chopped or grated
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Water, use lukewarm water not hot
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until you get a fine consistency. Pour this mixture using a spoon into molds or ice cube trays. Lay the molds on a baking tray and place the tray in the freezer for 6-8 hours. Then remove the pops from the molds and transfer them to a container or a ziploc bag and place back in the freezer. Thaw at room temperature or in the microwave for 10 seconds and use as needed to enhance your meals!
Notes
For an AIP version, omit the roasted chana dal and the green chillies.
